Christmas carols a success!
Carol singing last night was a great success. Around 30 adults, children and a dog or two sang their way round the village on a cold and nearly frosty night. All the traditional carols were sung to the kind souls who opened their front doors and braved the chilly temperatures to listen. Hamish Sanger Davies was a brilliant accompanist on his clarinet; so a big thank you to him and also to Ed and Vicky at The Star, who kindly provided warm mince pies in return for a carol or two (in the warmth at last!). Thanks also to Ali Stephenson and Charles Archer for organising it. We hope to see more singers next year; get your lanterns ready!
