Fantastic fundraising for the Air Ambulance!

In 2003, Christine and Jeremy King started leaving a few cuttings and other plants outside Bredon Holt’s garden gate for residents to take for their own gardens. The Kings just suggested people leave a donation for the Air Ambulance.  Fast forward 17 years and I am sure they never imagined that they would raise the impressive figure below!! Many congratulations to them, and as the poster says, thanks to all those who have donated over the years.

The Midland Air Ambulance charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulance helicopters and two critical care cars in the area, including Worcestershire. Since 1991, the charity has responded to more than 60,000 missions, making it one of the longest established and busiest air ambulance organisations in the UK.

The Midland Air Ambulance charity does not receive funding from the Government so relies on the support of local people like the Kings. For more information visit their site: opens in a new windowMidlands Air Ambulance
