Hello. I’m Karen Rowley. I live ‘by the telephone box’ in the Old Post House. My other half is Paul and we have lived in the village for 15 years. I work part time as a personal trainer and yoga teacher, run our self catering barn and really enjoy cycling and walking. I’m PC Chair and also look after ‘comms’ in the village, e.g. website, group email & facebook. Hello, I’m Andy Robinson and I live in Elmley Castle with my wife, 2 children and 1 dog. I am new to Worcestershire, having moved here in 2017 from the North West after a significant lifestyle change. We now have a smallholding where we keep sheep and chickens and now thoroughly enjoy the rural lifestyle. I am Clerk for Ashton Under Hill Parish Council as well as another local Parish Council. When not working you will regularly find me walking our dog on Bredon Hill or enjoying the outdoors with two children in tow.
Hello, I’m Dave Rose. I moved to Ashton three years ago, with my wife Sue. We have enjoyed 41 years together, sharing joyous moments with our two boys Mike and Dan, and our wonderful grandchildren, Jack and Dylan. I am retired, following enjoyable service with Birmingham City Council. My roles included, teaching (primary and secondary), strategic development and senior management of constituency services. I enjoy sport (ex-runner and footballer), volunteering and currently serve on the ASC committee. We are home improving, but escape for daily walks upon glorious Bredon Hill. I want to help repay the kindness of many residents who have made us so welcome.

Hello, I’m Doreen Cope and I have lived in the village all my life. I have two sons, Sam and Matthew. I have a lovely granddaughter, Sam’s daughter Ava. As well as serving on the Parish Council (for more than 30 years!), I am also on the ASC committee and run ‘Busy Fingers’, our village mother and baby group. You might also see me in the mornings delivering papers around the village, a job I’ve been doing for many years!
Hi, I’m Simon Masding. Debbie and I moved to the village in 2020 and have loved every minute of being part of the Ashton under Hill community. Our grown up daughters are frequently here too enjoying the hills, countryside and the best pub for miles! I was brought up in Brimpsfield and understand what village community life is all about. I’m keen to ensure that these values are passed down to many future generations. You’ll find me walking the hills with our dog Freddie or at the cricket club, bat in hand, or cutting the grass!

Hello I’m Jo!! I moved to Ashton during 2020 in Covid times. Despite this I found the village very warm and welcoming. You can often see me out and about with dogs, not always mine! I’m just always with dogs! I know every inch of Bredon Hill, so if ever you want a tour guide of our beautiful hill, feel free to contact me. I have a passion for the outdoors, as well as preserving the environment around us, including our lovely village. Hope to see everyone around the village soon.
